Our Log Furniture Shop is now located in Chaska, Minnesota. Just 1/2 mile from our CCO INC. showroom and Northwoods Design Center in Chaska, Mn. We moved to a new facility in the fall of 2012 and are now settled in. We are very excited about the additional equipment we have put in service and will be introducing lots of new designs and the redesign of some other furniture items! We craft peeled cedar log furniture, log railings and log trim for both the retail and wholesale market.
We use only the highest quality, hand-peeled cedar, aspen and pine logs to build our products and the reward has been a steady supply of customers with many returning time and time again. Our products have shipped to every state in America including Hawaii and Alaska! We ship to Canada quite often and even Europe occasionally.
Unlike many log furniture companies who use rotary tenon cutters that cut across the grain leaving the tenon rough and unfinished, our state of the art Automated Tenon Cutter creates precise, silky smooth tenons in diameters from 1 1/4" - 8" and handles logs up to 12 feet long, enabling us to build anything from small chairs and benches to large architechural design features!
Once the tenons are cut, the knots and logging marks are sanded and the logs are buffed. They are now ready for drilling.
Once the first sanding is completed, the logs move to the drilling station where mortises are drilled at the desired angles providing easy assembly and a superior final product.
After the drilling operation is complete, the furniture is ready for assembly. Each piece is inspected prior to and during assembly for quality and fit. Once assembled, the furniture is moved to our Eden Prairie Warehouse. The protective clearcoat is applied and finally the order is packaged for shipment.
We are fully equipped to deliver any sized order. We can deliver using our fleet of trucks and trailers which includes a 16' cube truck, a 16' flat bed truck, several enclosed trailers ranging in sizes of 12', 14', 16'. A 24' log trailer plus a very large 36' Gooseneck trailer. Depending on your location and the size of your order, we may deliver ourselves or we may use one of our extended delivery partners assuring you receive your furniture in a timely manner and in good condition.
