~ Receiving Your Order

 

     We ship hundreds of orders every month to log homes, cabins, resorts and state facilities all across the country that arrive safely. We only use carriers with proven track records to deliver your furniture quickly and reliably. Most likely, your furniture will arrive in pristine condition and will be at the end of it's journey. But occassionally, something happens in transit. When that does happen, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

  • When your order arrives and has been unloaded, and before the truck leaves, throughly inspect the packaging and/or furniture for any obvious damage prior to signing the delivery company's release form. If damage is not noted on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt at the time of delivery, there is no recourse.  The line where you sign the form will state "Received in good condition" Write DAMAGED next to this line.
  • The shipping company is responsible for any damage incurred. They will return any damaged item back to us to repair or replacement. But, use good judgement, if the damage is minor or we can send a replacement part, just note the damage on the receipt and keep the damaged item. Keep the original shipping pallet and all packaging materials in case something does need to be returned to us unless you are positive there are no reason to return any furniture.
  • Please notify our office by the end of the following business day so we can get replacements started.
  • Take pictures from about 5' away and email them to us so we can determine if the entire piece or just a part is needed.
  • The shipping company will re-deliver at no charge to us or to you.
